Season of Creation 2023: Living Laudato Si’

Season of Creation returns this September along with the announcement of new ecological teachings from Pope Francis.

The Vatican announced in recent weeks that the pope would be releasing a follow up to his groundbreaking 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si’.

Due to be published on 4th October – the end of Season of Creation and feast day of St Francis of Assisi – this new exhortation is set to provide a vital update to the original document, reflecting on the current issues and challenges facing our world today.

As we await the publication of this new work, our Laudato Si’ Centre is taking the opportunity this Season of the Creation to return to our roots and explore more about Pope Francis’ original document and how it provides the bedrock for our work at our centre.

Over the coming weeks, we will reflect on key phrases from Laudato Si’ and explore in detail how we strive to put these into action at our centre.

Join us each Monday on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter channels – or revisit this page – as we break down this crucial document and examine how it inspires our work in our own corner of creation.
