Catholic diocese issues travel survey to help net zero plans

The Diocese of Salford is asking parishioners to complete a travel survey to help it on its journey to net zero.

As part of its ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future, the Diocese of Salford has begun work to reduce its carbon emissions right across the diocese.

Its environmental team has already calculated a carbon baseline for its buildings but is now looking to understand more about its emissions resulting from travel, including parishioners’ travel to and from church.

To help calculate this, they are asking parishioners to complete this survey

The survey should take approximately five minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. Please provide as much information as possible.
